Credits & Trial
DRONA runs on credits, so you only pay for the work the AI actually does: designing, validating, and sourcing builds. Reading the docs, browsing parts, and rotating the 3D model are free.
Free trial
New accounts get 15 free trial credits after confirming their email, no payment needed. Confirm the link we email you, then start designing. A Trial badge sits on the credits chip in the header so you always know where you stand.
Didn’t get the confirmation email? Check spam, and make sure you finished confirming, the trial credits are granted on email confirmation, not at sign-up.
What uses more
Not every action costs the same:
- Light - a quick question, a small edit, rotating or exploding the model.
- Heavier - a full build that searches the web for live part prices and availability. Sourcing real, in-stock parts is the most expensive step.
If you’re on the trial, lean on edits and /whatif to explore cheaply, then
commit to a full sourced build when you’re happy with the design.
Plans
When the trial runs out, pick a plan from Settings, Billing. Plans grant their credits up front, and there’s a tier for trying things out and larger tiers for heavy use. Active subscribers can also buy a one-time top-up when they need extra credits mid-cycle (top-ups require an active plan).
Current plans and prices live in Settings, Billing inside the app, that’s the source of truth. Credits from a plan don’t expire mid-cycle.
Running out
When your balance is too low for the next request, DRONA shows a prompt to pick a plan (or top up, if you’re already subscribed). Your existing build is never lost - the design, parts, and 3D model stay exactly where they were. Add credits and continue right where you left off.
